Founded in 1989, Soundview Preparatory School was a well-respected independent day school located on a 13-acre campus in Yorktown Heights. The assets of the school were liquidated under the protection of the Bankruptcy Court and the campus was sold to a local developer. The sale of the campus enabled the school to pay many of its creditors in full with the remaining creditors receiving a substantial distribution.
